Cathy Tutton

For many years, Catharine Tutton (Cathy) has had an interest in developing art and recreational programs that contribute to the well-being of children and communities. Christian spiritual development has been a core part of many of these programs.

Prior to coming to St. Paul’s, Cathy Tutton was employed part-time as the Christian education co-ordinator at Christ Church in Dartmouth. From the fall of 2010 until the summer 2015, she was responsible for the regular Sunday school and youth program at Christ Church. In the summer she and her husband Michael ran a series of ecumenical Christian summer camps that drew wide participation from the community.  From January to December 2010 Cathy directed children’s puppet workshops and productions for several Anglican churches in HRM. For several years she has also taught children’s summer art camp programs at Alderney Landing.
Cathy has a background in design and currently provides website and related media design services and training to small business owners and social enterprises. She also enjoys outdoor exercise and engages in community projects such as community gardens, Nocturne, Tulip Fest and the Switch Street Festival.
